Pam Barrett

Pam Barrett has had extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Pam started their career as a Clinical Instructor at UNC Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy, where they worked from 1987 to 1990. Pam then joined GlaxoSmithKline, where they held various roles including Senior Clinical Program Head in Neurosciences and Cardiovascular/Critical Care. After that, they worked as a Principal Consultant at PB Consulting from 2006 to 2010. Pam then joined IQVIA as the VP and Delivery Head for the Customer Solutions Management Group, where they worked until 2017. Currently, they are the SVP and General Partner of Global Operations at ICON plc, where they are responsible for managing drug development programs and maintaining relationships with strategic partners.

Pam Barrett has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Biology from North Carolina State University. Pam also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, they have completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Research / Drug Development from the same university. Pam has obtained the certification of RPh from the NC Board of Pharmacy.
