Rene van Wijk is an experienced and results-oriented HR leader with over 25 years of international experience in fast-growing and dynamic organizations within the pharmaceutical industry, laboratories, production, and research. Rene has held significant positions, including Director of HR at Pharma Bio-Research and Senior Director of Human Resources at PRA Health Sciences, where responsibilities included HR strategy, talent acquisition, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently, Rene serves as Senior Director of HR Operations for West & Northern Europe at ICON plc, overseeing HR operations for approximately 6,000 employees. Rene obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Applied Sciences Rotterdam.
