Wendy Despain

Wendy DeSpain is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and strategic development, currently serving as the Global Head of Regulatory Strategy at ICON plc. Prior to this role, Wendy held positions including Head of US Regulatory Affairs and Principal Consultant. Wendy's extensive experience includes serving as Senior Director of Regulatory and Strategic Development at Clinipace Worldwide, Director of Regulatory Affairs at Allergan, and various roles at NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where responsibilities included management and associate positions in regulatory affairs. Wendy began their career in quality assurance and control at Theratech. Wendy holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from California State University, Bakersfield.
