Alberto Mercado Jofre

Alberto Mercado Jofre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer service and information security, currently serving as the VP Customer Service and CISO at ICONSTRUYE since March 2016. In this role, responsibilities include ensuring operational continuity and enhancing post-sale services while overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (SGSI). Prior to this, Alberto held various leadership positions, including Gerente de Operaciones TI at ICONSTRUYE, where management of IT operations, platform administration, and quality improvement were key focuses. Experience also includes positions at Accenture as a Senior Consultant, Gerente de Operaciones at TAISA S.A., and a significant tenure at Claro Chile S.A. as Gerente de Desarrollo de Sistemas BSS/OSS. Alberto holds a Postgraduate Degree in Information Management and a Civil Engineering degree in Computing from Universidad de Chile.
