Stefan Dobrev

Stefan Dobrev is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation and strategy across various sectors. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Icos Capital and Managing Director at Innovation Ventures LLC since September 2025, Dobrev also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at the EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology, where the focus is on collaborative innovation. Previously, Dobrev was Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer at SIG Group, Global Head of Plant Based at Emmi Group, and held multiple leadership roles at Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller, including Head of Group Strategy & Business Development. Dobrev’s early career includes significant contributions at Nestlé, where leadership spanned global innovation partnerships and project management that enhanced operational efficiency. Dobrev’s academic background includes a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Oxford.
