Geremy Knapp has over 25 years of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Geremy began their career in 1994 as a Research Associate at EMBREX, INC., where they performed routine compound efficacy and stability testing assays, as well as aided in developing large scale production and product packaging procedures. In 1995, they became a Research Technician II at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 1997, they joined the US EPA as a Biologist, where they designed and implemented lead research programs to assess molecular effects, such as gene expression changes, alternate gene splicing events, genotype/copy number and mutation induction, in response to various environmentally relevant compounds. Geremy also conducted data analysis for use in technical reports, internal and external presentations and publications, and developed and optimized Standard Operating Procedures including determining quality control parameters. In 2011, they joined Novartis Vaccines as a Quality Control Supervisor and QC Specialist. In 2016, they joined Seqirus as a Senior Manager, Analytical Science and Technology, Quality Control Senior Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Quality Control Supervisor. In 2021, they became an Associate Director, Quality Control at Taysha Gene Therapies. Geremy is currently the Director Of Quality Control at Icosavax, Inc.

Geremy Knapp attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Batchelor of Science in Biology.
