Justin Shearer

Justin Shearer holds extensive experience in the field of analytical chemistry, with significant roles in both industry and academia. As Director of Quality Control at GSK from May 2020 to February 2025, Justin led a global team focused on implementing innovative technologies for multi-modality drug development. Prior to GSK, positions included Associate Research Scientist at Dow AgroSciences, where Justin conducted method development for chromatography, and Assistant Professor at both Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the University of North Alabama, teaching various chemistry courses and mentoring undergraduate researchers. Justin's educational background includes a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Westminster College.
