Yana Makaveeva

Yana Makaveeva is a dedicated talent acquisition and human resources professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of HQ Talent Acquisition at the International Committee of the Red Cross since May 2018, Yana has successfully transformed the recruitment process into a strategic partnership model, overseeing a team of up to 8 recruiters and facilitating over 500 FTE recruitments annually. Prior to this role, Yana held positions with International SOS, where responsibilities included enhancing HR impact across a diverse workforce and deploying workforce planning strategies for 30+ countries.
