Piyush Tiwari

Piyush Tiwari is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of property, currently serving as a Professor in Property and Program Coordinator at the University of Melbourne since 2011. Tiwari has held multiple roles, including Associate Professor, Assistant Dean, and e-Learning Champion within the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning. Currently, Tiwari is a Senior Advisor at Integrated Research and Action for Development, focusing on the impact of sea level rise and flooding risks in coastal Indian cities. Additional affiliations include research roles at the Global Research Unit at City University of Hong Kong and as an Honorary Senior Advisor for an Affordable Housing Project at ICRIER. As a founding partner of Indu Consultants, Tiwari specializes in real estate analytics and public-private partnerships. Tiwari has contributed to international standards development through involvement with the International Property Measurement Standards Coalition and holds several academic degrees, including a PhD in Housing Economics.
