Jeff Tranter

Jeff Tranter has over 35 years of work experience. Jeff began their career in 1983 as an Engineer at Mitel. Jeff then moved to Corel in 1999 as a Project Leader. In 2001, they joined Xandros Corporation as a Development Manager. Finally, in 2007, they became a Consulting Manager at Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS). At ICS, Jeff is responsible for the management of customer software projects, including the architectural and high-level design of software systems.

Jeff Tranter completed their B.E.Sc in Electrical from Western University between 1980 and 1983. Prior to that, they attended Lincoln Alexander Secondary School from 1975 to 1979. Jeff has also obtained various certifications, including Programming for Microcontrollers with Qt from The Qt Company in June 2021, Raspberry Pi Pico and RP2040 - The Deep Dive from Hackaday in June 2021, Advanced C++ Video Course from Udemy in April 2020, Heimdal Security Cyber Security for Beginners from Heimdal Security in April 2020, SANS Cyber Aces Cybersecurity from SANS Institute in March 2020, Project Management Certification from ExpertRating Inc. in August 2018, Scrum Master Accredited Certification, Scrum Product Owner Accredited Certification, and Scrum Team Member Accredited Certification from International Scrum Institute in October 2016, and Certified Qt Developer from Nokia in September 2012.
