Skylar Velazquez

Skylar Velazquez is a dedicated professional currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Labor and Employment Relations and Human Resource Management at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. As a Peer Ambassador at the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, Skylar collaborates with the Career Services Team to support the promotion of HR and Labor-related opportunities to over 5000 students. In addition, Skylar is an ICSC Launch Academy Member, gaining insights into the retail real estate sector and expanding professional networks. With over a decade of experience as a background actor under SAG-AFTRA, Skylar has participated in more than 50 productions. Recent roles include a Human Resources Intern at Easterseals New Jersey and a Marketing Intern at the New Jersey Small Business Development Center, showcasing strong organizational and communication skills.
