Koustav Pain

Koustav Pain (Tukai) is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as Lead Data Scientist and Advising Data Scientist at iCustoms.ai since October 2022. Prior roles include Data Scientist at Zūm Rails from January 2022 to March 2023 and Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Mitacs between October 2019 and April 2021. Koustav has also contributed to academic environments, holding positions as a Residence Assistant, Research Fellow at the DNLP Lab, and Graduate Teaching Assistant for Advanced Topics in NLP at Dalhousie University during the same period. Koustav Pain holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University (2019-2021) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Management in Kolkata (2012-2016).
