Michael Avon

Michael Avon is the Executive Chairman and Founder of ICX Media, a leading audience and content intelligence data-as-a-service platform powering the streaming economy. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the media and technology industries, including executive leadership roles at Apptopia Inc., GuidePoint Security, SquadLocker, deepwatch, and ExecOnline, Inc. In September 2017, they joined Viventium as a Board Member. Viventium is a leading human capital management and payroll software company.

Since founding ICX Media in April 2015, Michael has led the company to become a powerful force in the streaming economy. Using sophisticated proprietary data science and machine learning/AI, the ICX Media platform empowers video content producers and distributors to better understand their audiences and create more engaging and effective content for those audiences. The platform also enables media & entertainment companies and brands to better market to their target consumers and audiences and better monetize their streaming content. In January 2022, ICX Media was acquired by Salient Global, a leading data and tech enabled marketing services company.

Michael Avon attended the University of Virginia, where they studied economics and history. Michael then attended the University of Virginia School of Law, where they studied banking, corporate, finance, and securities law. Finally, they attended Georgetown Preparatory School.
