Rick Mitterer

Rick Mitterer has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Rick most recently served as the Head of Infrastructure at ID90 Travel, where they managed PCI Certification and implemented security training. Prior to that, they were the IT Devops Manager at The Container Store, overseeing a team and migrating deployments to Ansible Playbooks. Rick also worked as the Director of Technical Operations at VMR Products, where they managed a Devops team supporting various websites. At ResearchNow, they were the Global Unix Manager, leading a team responsible for managing virtualized VMware environments and implementing AppDynamics for application performance management. Rick also held roles at Travelocity, Expedia/Hotels.com, Hotels.com, Neiman Marcus Direct, GetThere/Travelocity, and Stock Smart, where they gained experience in system administration, project management, and application support.

Rick Mitterer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stephen F. Austin State University, studying during the academic year of 1982 to 1983.
