David Jones

David Jones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. David started their career as a Detective in Security & Intelligence at An Garda Síochána, where they worked from April 2003 to December 2013. In January 2014, they joined MP International as a Consultant in Financial Services, and then transitioned to IDA Ireland in December 2014, where they served as a Vice President in the Enterprise Technology Portfolio. In June 2022, David became an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council.

David Jones has a diverse education history. David obtained a Certificate in Business Excellence (CIBE) from Columbia Business School between 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management, Business/Commerce, General from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2014. David also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Management, Administration of Justice from University College Dublin, completed in 2011.

In addition to their degrees, David has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they completed the IDA Ireland Future Leaders Training program at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. In March 2019, they obtained a certification in Communication, Influence & Persuasion from the same institution. In 2018, David completed the High Performance Business Development Client Engagement Programme at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. David also obtained a certification in Cybersecurity: Technology, Application, and Policy from MIT Professional Education in 2016.
