Tristan McCallum

Tristan McCallum is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and the creative industries. Currently serving as a Technologist for Engineering and Green Economy at IDA Ireland since January 2023, Tristan provides critical technical expertise and supports research and innovation efforts for client companies. Previously, Tristan worked as a Principal Investigator and Additive Manufacturing Applications Engineer at Irish Manufacturing Research, focusing on integrating additive manufacturing technologies within the Irish manufacturing sector. Additional experience includes roles as a Manufacturing Engineer at DePuy Synthes Companies and various positions in the film industry, such as Standby Art Director for Into the Badlands Season 2 and Costume Props Standby for both seasons of Marco Polo. Tristan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin and maintains a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Wellington Institute of Technology.
