Karen Gwynn

Karen Gwynn has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Karen started in 1990 as a Senior Technical Writer at Dynamic Business Systems. From 1991 to 2007, they worked at Datatel, Inc., where they served as a Senior Process Specialist and was responsible for gathering requirements, developing internal procedures, and conducting meetings. Karen also developed an intranet-based product development methodology and managed the configuration management system.

In 2007, Karen was the Membership & Volunteer Coordinator at the National Council of Jewish Women, where they maintained the organization's website, coordinated volunteers for an annual fundraiser, and provided assistance and guidance to staff and volunteers. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Contract Employee at Ajilon Consulting, handling configuration management and documentation management tasks.

Between 2010 and 2013, Karen worked as a Library Assistant at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System, focusing on establishing processing and distribution standards, training co-workers, and developing patron service skills. In 2010, they also worked as a Contract Employee at Snelling Professional Services, assisting with a database reconciliation project.

In 2014, Karen worked as an Information Analyst at MRI Contract Staffing, Inc., and in 2015, they were a Library Associate II at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they gathered citation records of scholarly work by faculty.

Since 2015, Karen has been working at IData Incorporated, where they started as a Contract Technical Writer before eventually becoming a Technical Writer and then a Technical Project Manager for Data Governance Solutions. In their current role, they are responsible for development project management, requirements analysis, and managing the software development process.

Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in project management, technical writing, research, data analysis, and coordination across various industries.

Karen Gwynn completed their high school education at Briarcliff High School in Atlanta, Georgia from 1980 to 1981. Karen then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance at The George Washington University, graduating in 1985. In 1982, they briefly attended American University but did not complete a degree. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Karen Gwynn enrolled in The University of Alabama and obtained a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree, specializing in Library Science.
