Ricardo Lara

Ricardo Lara is currently the Principal Investment Officer for Energy & Infrastructure at IDB Invest. Prior to this role, Ricardo Lara worked as the Head of Advisory at BBVA en Colombia, managed relationships and deals as an Infrastructure & Corporate Banker at Itaú Colombia, and was the Head of Infrastructure Finance at Banco CorpBanca Colombia S.A. Ricardo also has experience working at Banco Santander as a Senior Banker in the Infrastructure Sector, at the Departamento Nacional de Planeación as the Coordinator of Private Participation in Infrastructure, at Santander Investment Colombia as an Analyst/Associate in Investment Banking, and at Corporación Financiera Colombiana as an Equity Portfolio Analyst. Ricardo Lara holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Inalde and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
