Ganesa Ratnam is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Chief Distribution Officer at IDBI Federal Life Insurance since September 2013. In this role, Ganesa heads the largest zone of the company for all channels and is a member of the Senior Management Committee. Previously, Ganesa held the position of Chief Bancassurance Officer for the Federal Bank channel at IDBI Federal Life Insurance, as well as roles at Ageas Federal Life Insurance and IDBI Fortis Life Insurance Co Ltd, overseeing significant bancassurance operations. Earlier career experiences include leadership positions at Reliance Life Insurance Co Ltd, GE Capital, ICICI Bank, and Wipro Finance Limited. Ganesa holds an MBA in Finance and a B.Sc in Mathematics from the University of Madras.
