Michael Signer

Michael Signer is a seasoned professional currently serving as the North America Policy Director at Airbnb, overseeing campaigns across the U.S. Signer holds positions as a Board Member at the Truman Center for National Policy and as a Visiting Professor and Democracy Fellow at Reichman University. With a distinguished career, Signer has also been a Charter Member of TechGC and previously served as Partner, VP, and General Counsel at WillowTree, Inc. Furthermore, Signer has held significant leadership roles as City Councilor and Mayor of Charlottesville, and as the founder and chair of Communities Overcoming Extremism. Academic experience includes lecturing at the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and Virginia Tech. Signer possesses advanced degrees in law and political science from the University of Virginia and the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University.
