Daniel Allen M.ed.

Daniel Allen, M.Ed., BCBA, COBA, currently serves as the Founding Regional Director of Special Education at IDEA Public Schools, a role held since April 2022. With extensive experience in special education, Daniel has also been the Treasurer of the Ohio Valley Branch of the International Dyslexia Association since January 2019, where responsibilities include financial management and budget oversight. Previous roles include IEP Liaison at Springer School and Center, Special Education Specialist at Indianapolis Public Schools, and teaching positions at the Indiana Math and Science Academy - West. Daniel has a Master's degree in Education/Behavioral Analysis from the University of Cincinnati and a M.A.T. in Special Education from Marian University Indianapolis, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from DePauw University. Daniel has also contributed to the professional development of new educators through Teach For America and the Teach Plus Fellowship program.
