Dr. Rickenya Sisk

Dr. Rickenya Sisk currently serves as the Regional Director of Special Programs at IDEA Public Schools, a role held since January 2019, and previously acted as a Special Education Manager. Prior experience includes positions as a Special Education Specialist at Dallas Independent School District from August 2012 to January 2019, and as the Special Education Department Chairperson at Cedar Hill Independent School District between August 2006 and August 2012. Prior to these roles, Dr. Sisk was a Special Education Lead Teacher at New Orleans Public Schools from August 2001 to June 2006. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northcentral University, an Inclusive Schools Leadership Institute certification from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a Special Education Instructional Specialist degree from Arkansas State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Jackson State University.
