Rolando Gonzalez

Rolando Gonzalez, M.Ed., currently serves as the Director of College Counseling at IDEA Public Schools since 2016, bringing a wealth of experience in higher education support and student advising. Previously, Rolando held positions at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as a Student Program Advisor for Fraternity & Sorority Life and as an International Student Advisor at The University of Texas - Pan American, focusing on immigration policies and student support initiatives. Rolando's early career included roles in alumni affairs and community engagement, demonstrating a strong commitment to student success and leadership development. Rolando holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and another Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Texas-Pan American, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Michigan State University.
