Shomari Jennings

Shomari Jennings possesses extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Assistant Principal at IDEA Public Charter School since June 2018 and as Director of Secondary Mathematics for District of Columbia Public Schools since February 2018. Alongside these roles, Shomari Jennings has worked as a Leadership Coach with Leading Educators since 2015. Previous positions include Math Department Chair/Instructional Coach at IDEA Public Charter School from 2012 to 2015 and Math Teacher at DC Prep from 2007 to 2012. Shomari Jennings holds a Master’s Degree in Education Curriculum and Design from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
