Max Barbour has a diverse work experience in the sales and consulting field. Max started their career as a Business Development Executive at LeasePlan, where they gained valuable skills in consultative selling and understanding the inner workings of a business. Max then worked as an Account Executive at Lombard Asset Finance and as a Sales Manager at Clydesdale Bank.
In 2005, Barbour joined ING Lease UK Limited as a Manager of Dealer & Manufacturer Development. After that, they worked as a Sales Consultant at Tax Computer Systems Ltd, selling to large corporate accounts and utilizing web demos for the first time. Max also briefly worked as a Sales Consultant at Raet.
In 2013, Barbour ventured into self-employment and started their own consulting business called Small Business Sales Coach. Max focused on helping small business owners improve their sales abilities. Max later expanded their clientele to include SMEs and larger corporates while still serving small business owners and private clients directly.
Barbour also worked as a Sales Coach, Mentor, and Trainer at Sales Revolution, providing on-demand sales consultancy, enablement, and training services. Max was involved in various activities such as onboarding, strategic analysis, pipeline management, and the development of training materials and sales tools.
Most recently, Barbour worked at SoftServe as a Senior Sales Enablement Lead for the EMEA & APAC regions, responsible for driving sales enablement strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Global Head of Sales Enablement at Ideagen.
Max Barbour attended Langley Grammar School from 1988 to 1993. They have not obtained any degree or certification in a specific field of study, except for an ICF ACSTH certificate in Professional Coaching Practice from Full Circle Development Consultancy in 2013.
