Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role encompasses financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of financial and accounting principles, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain financial analyses to support business planning and profitability decisions.
    • Provide key insights and recommendations by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Design and implement reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Support the team with annual budgeting process, building out budget templates and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, updating assumptions and identifying key drivers.
    • Monitor and report on budget vs. actual performance, providing explanations for variances.
  • Business Partnership
    • Act as a financial business partner to marketing departments, providing financial and business operations support.
    • Foster strong working relationships across the organization to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • 2+ years of investment banking or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the Direct-to-Consumer industry is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Experience with financial planning software and Business Intelligence systems (e.g., PowerBI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
