David Jauregui

CTO and Founder at Ideal Semiconductor Devices

David Jauregui has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. David began their career in 1996 as a Senior Design Engineer, Applications Engineer, and Test Engineer at International Rectifier. During their 12-year tenure, they were promoted to Senior Manager, Systems and Applications, and led a team of up to 10 engineers in the concept design, execution, and development of single and multiphase buck converter integrated products. This resulted in the development of 12 new products that generated approximately $600M in new design revenue.

In 2008, David was brought on as the Director of Applications at Ciclon to help establish and build the engineering organization. David led all the engineering disciplines through product roadmap design, product development, and product launch activities.

In 2011, David joined Texas Instruments as Director Advanced Technology. In this role, they were responsible for leading all technology development activities associated with the MOSFET Business Unit across multi-disciplined Engineering projects. David also assumed full ownership of the P&L, product development, and technical activities, which resulted in the doubling of the size of the product portfolio, including 3 new patent applications.

Most recently, in 2017, David became the CTO and Founder of iDEAL Semiconductor.

David Jauregui holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the International Telephone and Telegraph Technical Institute and a MS in Engineering Management (Engineering MBA) from the University of Southern California. Their fields of study include Electrical Engineering and Engineering Business Management.
