Jeanette McWilliams

Jeanette McWilliams is the current Public Relations Director at Ideas United. Jeanette has previously held the position of Senior Director of Public Relations at Savannah College of Art and Design from May 2017 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Marketing Director at VUARNET from April 2015 to April 2017.

In their role as Senior Director of Public Relations at Savannah College of Art and Design, Jeanette was responsible for creating, implementing and measuring all marketing, communications and public relations for the US + Latin American markets. Jeanette also oversaw sales support to the optical, sport and fashion sales representatives, and worked closely on inventory management and with the production team to provide feedback on styling, colors, and market needs.

As Marketing Director at VUARNET, Jeanette was responsible for coordinating trade media meetings, press release and events, trade shows within US & Canada, and the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc. Jeanette also led projects such as cause-related marketing and special events, developed and monitored systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications/public relations function, and kept informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations. In addition, Jeanette helped formulate and administer policies to ensure the integrity of the Organization, and ensured effective management within the marketing, communications + public relations function, with provision for succession.

Jeanette McWilliams received a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising from Fordham University. Jeanette also holds certifications from Cornell University in Diversity and Inclusion Certificate, LinkedIn in Content Marketing: Getting Your Content Published, and LinkedIn in Improving the Value of Your Time.

They are on a team with Katie Stachler - Senior Account Manager, Stephanie Neves - Account Manager, and David Kmoch - Director, Accounts. Jeanette McWilliams reports to Kevin Sullivan, VP, Growth.
