Hiroaki Nakamura

Hiroaki Nakamura is a distinguished scientist with a robust academic and professional background in physics and engineering. Since 2015, Hiroaki has served as a Visiting Scientist at The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Hiroaki has been with Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. since April 1985, progressing through various roles including Senior Chief Researcher, Chief Researcher, Manager, and Corporate Researcher, focusing on the development of materials for electronic devices, particularly in organic electronics. Additionally, since 2013, Hiroaki has contributed as a Visiting Professor at Chiba University and served as an International Expert for IEC/ISO TC119 from 2013 to 2015, representing Japan's National Committee for the Standardization of Printed Electronics. Hiroaki holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics from Kyushu University.
