Satoshi Noguchi

Satoshi Noguchi is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in geoscience and petroleum exploration. Currently serving as Chief Geologist at Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. since December 2013, Satoshi leads CO2 site screening and characterization efforts in offshore Japan, adhering to industry standards. Prior to this role, Satoshi worked as Senior Geologist on significant projects in Vietnam, overseeing well planning and geological operations. Satoshi has also held positions at Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation, focusing on gas hydrate projects, and contributed to the Mt. Unzen Scientific Drilling Project at The University of Tokyo as a PhD researcher. Satoshi holds a Doctor of Science degree from Kyushu University.
