Purvaja Sekar

Purvaja Sekar is an accomplished HR professional and psychotherapist with extensive experience in people operations and mental health support. Currently serving as the Director of People Operations at IDENTOS Inc. since May 2022, Purvaja focuses on executive support, talent acquisition, and business strategy. Additionally, as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with Psychology Today, Purvaja is dedicated to helping clients achieve their potential while addressing cultural challenges. Prior roles include People Operations Manager at IDENTOS Inc., Project Coordinator at Thrive Group, Healthcare Consultant and Coordinator at Kerry's Place Autism Services, and Behaviour Therapist at The Portia Learning Centre. Purvaja holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
