Iva Marinova

Iva Marinova has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and technology. Iva started their career at Data Craft & Magic ltd. in 2013 as an Infrastructure and System Administrator, where they worked until May 2015. Following that, they joined Identrics in May 2015 as a DevOps Engineer and continued in that role until January 2017. Iva then transitioned into the role of Machine Learning Engineer at Identrics in August 2016, a position they held until 2019. In June 2018, Iva was promoted to the role of Chief Data Scientist at Identrics, where they are currently employed. In 2022, they also joined the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences as a Software Developer.

Iva Marinova completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 1994 to 2001, they attended ПМГ "Нанчо Попович", Шумен where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science with German, although no specific degree was mentioned.

From 2001 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theatre at New Bulgarian University.

In 2017 and 2018, Iva obtained a Master of Science (MS) from the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in Bulgaria, with a specialization in Information Security and Cyber Security.

Finally, from 2019 to 2021, they studied at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Language Modeling, specifically focusing on NLP (Natural Language Processing).
