Aya Jaffar

Aya Jaffar is a highly experienced professional in design and public service, currently serving as Program Director at IDEO.org since February 2024. Jaffar previously held various roles at IDEO.org, including Design Lead and Senior Communication Designer, from April 2016 to April 2021. Jaffar also contributed as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and gained internship experience at IDEO and Catalyst Workshop. As the Founder and Curator of Le Petit Sourire, Jaffar has demonstrated leadership in creative and design initiatives. Jaffar's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Graphic Design from York University, complemented by studies in Visual and Creative Arts at Sheridan College.
