Rebecca Shreckengast

CXO / Partner at Ideum

Rebecca Shreckengast has extensive experience in the museum and exhibit design field. Rebecca began their career in 2000 at WB Inc., where they worked as an Exhibit Detailer and Fabrication Estimator. In 2002, they moved to Krent Paffett Carney Design, Inc., where they worked as an Exhibition Designer. In 2006, they joined the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affais Exhibits Central as an Exhibition Designer. During their time there, they worked on thirteen different exhibitions, as well as a master interpretive plan and concept design for Fort Sumner State Monument. In 2008, they moved to Andrew Merriell & Associates, LLC, where they worked as a Senior Exhibition Designer. In 2014, they became the Director of Exhibition Experience at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. In 2020, they returned to Ideum, where they held the role of Director of Creative Services and Executive Producer. Rebecca is currently working as CXO/Partner at Ideum.

Rebecca Shreckengast completed their Masters of Liberal Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from Harvard University in 2011. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Carnegie Mellon University between 1995 and 1999.
