Derek Schacht

Derek Schacht is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at iDevices since July 2018, with prior experience as an Engineering Specialist at Electric Boat from June 2008 to July 2018, where responsibilities included mentoring team members and overseeing various software development projects. Derek's work at Electric Boat encompassed software engineering tasks such as developing a portable hardware suite for UDP-based data interface simulation, transitioning components to a custom Embedded Real Time Linux, and addressing obsolescence issues through innovative software solutions.
