Peter M. Majgaard

Peter M. Majgaard has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Peter M. is currently working as the Sales Director, Europe for IDEX Biometrics, a leading provider of fingerprint identification technologies. In this role, they are responsible for inventing, engineering, and commercializing user-friendly authentication solutions.

Prior to their current position, Peter worked as the VP Business Development at Konsentus, where they played a crucial role in providing online, real-time services to credit institutions. Peter M. also served as the Regional Director at Austria Card, managing the company's business in multiple countries and overseeing the Personalization Bureau in Poland.

Peter has a strong background in the payment and transport sector, having worked at Oberthur Technologies. Peter M. served as the Business Director, Payment & Transport, Middle East, and later took on the roles of Regional Account Manager, Global Account Manager, and Country Manager, Poland.

Before their time at Oberthur Technologies, Peter owned and served as a Management Consultant at Praetor Majgaard ApS, where they provided consultancy services to various organizations such as Arla Foods Amba and Real Estate Central Europe.

Peter started their career as the Marketing & Sales Director and a member of the Board of Management at Tryg. Peter M. also worked in various roles at the company from 1991 to 1998.

Additionally, Peter had experience in the military, having served as a 2nd Lieutenant of the Reserve at The Princes Life Regiment.

Peter M. Majgaard holds an MBA in General Management and Strategy, which they obtained from Copenhagen Business School in 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Political Science degree in European Integration from Aarhus University, graduating in 1991. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification as a PADI Master Scuba Diver from PADI in September 2022.
