Suresh Marystella

Suresh Marystella has extensive work experience in various roles related to manufacturing, operations, and technical support. Suresh currently holds the position of Vice President - Global Manufacturing at IDEX Biometrics starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mobismart Card Technology Private Limited from January 2019 to May 2023.

Suresh also has experience as Vice President (Operations) at Smart Card IT Solutions Limited from July 2010 to January 2019. In this role, they demonstrated expertise in project management, production management, quality control, and technical aspects of large-scale production related to security printing, mailing, and smart cards. Suresh successfully obtained certifications for RuPay and MasterCard manufacturing and established a factory with a manufacturing capacity of 300 million/year.

Before joining Smart Card IT Solutions Limited, Suresh worked at Oberthur Technologies as a Manager Production from December 2005 to October 2008. Here, they played a vital role in setting up GSM production lines and improving equipment efficiency, leading to cost reduction.

In addition to their manufacturing roles, Suresh also served as Deputy Manager (Service) at MFI Office Solutions from April 2005 to November 2005. Suresh'sresponsibilities included providing technical support for printers and mailing machines, handling escalated support cases, meeting service level agreements, and projecting monthly requirements for consumables.

Suresh Marystella holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Production and Project Management from the Emperial Institute of Management Science & Research. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at VSVN Polytechnic. In the earlier years, from 1993 to 1995, Suresh completed their Hsc (High School Certificate) with a focus on Maths & Science at St Anns Hr Sec School.
