Garland Nichols, PhD, has an extensive work experience spanning different roles and companies. Currently, they work at IDEXX Corporation as the Director of the Program Management Office, where they lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and focuses on continuous improvement. Prior to joining IDEXX Corporation, Garland held various positions at Xerox. Garland served as the Vice President of Engineering Operations & 3D Printing Programs, where they led R&D Engineering Operations and successfully delivered Xerox's first 3D liquid metal printer. Garland also served as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer, supporting and driving business operations for the Office of the CTO and the Product Development organization. In addition, they were the Vice President of Global Development Group/Engineering, providing strategic leadership to 800+ engineers globally. Garland also held the position of Vice President of Worldwide Information Security and Vice President of Partner Programs & Coverage Strategy at Xerox.

Garland also has an MBA in Technology Management & Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Honors, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, Garland has obtained certifications in various fields such as Generative AI Overview for Project Managers, Fundamentals of Agile Project Management, Fundamentals of Predictive Project Management, Basic Optics for Non-Optics Personnel, CISM, Security+, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB).
