Jessica Chmiel

Jessica Chmiel serves as the Chief Labor & Employment Counsel at IDEX Corporation, a position held since October 2017, following a previous role as Senior Counsel & Director of Labor and Employment. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel for Employment & Labor at Sears Holdings Corporation and Senior Counsel for Employment at Career Education Corporation. Chmiel’s career began as an Associate Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw, where counsel was provided on various employment and labor law matters and representation in litigation. Chmiel holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
