Julie M. Félix

Julie M. Félix has extensive work experience in the field of diversity and inclusion. Julie M. is currently working as the Global Director of Inclusion at IDEXX Corporation since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of Diversity Recruiting & Programs at Western Digital from October 2020 to April 2022.

Julie has also held various roles at Mesirow Financial, including Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion, AVP of Diversity and Inclusion, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, and Diversity and Inclusion Associate. In these positions, they developed and implemented enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategies, oversaw employee resource groups, managed supplier diversity, and built relationships with external partners.

Before their time at Mesirow Financial, Julie worked at William Blair as an Executive Assistant and Community Partner Liaison. In this role, they provided support to the CEO of the Investment Management department and served as a liaison between the company and community partners.

Julie began their career in the non-profit sector, working as an Executive Assistant at The Global FoodBanking Network, Opportunity International, and WorldTeach. During this time, they gained expertise in operational and financial management, relationship building, and project management.

Julie M. Félix, MSc, PHR completed their Master of Science (MSc) in International Public Service Management at DePaul University from 2009 to 2011. Julie M. also holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish from Saint Louis University. In addition to their degrees, Julie has obtained various certifications including Organizational Learning and Development from LinkedIn, Associate Diversity Coach from CoachDiversity Institute at Howard University School of Business, Qualified Administrator in Intercultural Development Inventory Assessment from IDI, LLC, Professional Human Resources from HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and Claritas Certification from CFA Institute.
