Janet Britton

Janet Britton currently serves as the Senior Director and Global Chief Employment Counsel at IDEXX, overseeing employment-related legal matters globally, including litigation defense and organizational restructures, with expertise in pay equity, restrictive covenant enforcement, and anti-discrimination law. Prior to IDEXX, Janet was a Partner at Verrill Dana, LLP, where responsibilities included providing OFCCP compliance advice and representing clients before various human rights and district courts in Maine. Janet also held the role of OFCCP Compliance Leader and Attorney at Delhaize America, where significant achievements included the development of an extensive Affirmative Action Program and management of employment legal matters for a large workforce. Janet holds an MA in Organizational and Financial Management from the Muskie School of Public Service, a JD from the University of Maine School of Law, and a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Southern Maine.
