Kyra Somers

Kyra Somers has extensive experience in veterinary diagnostics, currently serving as the Manager of Pathology and Clinical Pathologist at IDEXX since March 2005. In addition to this role, Kyra holds the position of Assistant Regional Manager for Clinical Pathology in the US West, also at IDEXX Laboratories since January 2018. Previously, Kyra worked as a Regional Manager for Clinical Pathology in the Northwest US and served as an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University from 2000 to 2005. Academic credentials include a PhD in Pathology and a DVM in Veterinary Medicine, both obtained from Colorado State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution. Early education was completed at Montana State University-Bozeman.
