Wade Edwards

Wade Edwards, DVM, Dipl. ACVP, has extensive experience in veterinary anatomic pathology, currently serving as a Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist at IDEXX since January 2018. Prior to this role, Wade worked at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2014 to December 2017, where responsibilities included providing diagnostic services, training residents and veterinary students, and conducting research on the aquatic microbiome in collaboration with The Shedd Aquarium. Wade's training as an Anatomic Pathology Resident in Zoological Pathology involved managing a significant volume of diagnostic submissions and gaining expertise in various diagnostic techniques. Earlier experience includes roles as a Student Pathology Laboratory Technician and Veterinary Student Scholar at the University of Georgia, and a Zoological Medicine Veterinary Assistant, complemented by degrees in Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and a Master of Science in Veterinary Pathology and Pathobiology.
