Ben Rees

Ben Rees is an accomplished software development manager with extensive experience across various roles in leading technology companies. Currently serving as the Manager of Software Development Senior at IDEXX's VetSoft R&D division since June 2023, Ben oversees the development of key SaaS products including ezyVet, SmartFlow, and VetRadar. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Head of Mobile Engineering at ezyVet from March 2022 to June 2023, following a tenure as Engineering Director - Mobile at Visa from July 2021 to March 2022. Ben's career also includes significant roles at Fraedom, where responsibilities evolved from Development Practice Lead to Development Director, and earlier positions at Fiserv Auckland, Zeacom Inc, TvmNexus, Aderant, UDC Finance, and FASNexus Limited, showcasing a diverse skill set in software architecture, mobile banking, and user experience design. Ben's educational background includes studies at Massey University from 1995 to 1997.
