Madhav Rao

Madhav Rao is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in credit management and underwriting. Currently serving as the National Credit Manager for Rural Secured Loans at IDFC FIRST Bank since December 2015, Madhav oversees secured loan products including home loans and commercial vehicles. Prior experience includes roles such as National Credit Manager and Regional Risk Head for Consumer Banking at ICICI Bank, where responsibilities included credit underwriting and retail mortgage portfolio management. Additional experience spans leadership positions in credit and risk management at Hutchinson Essar Ltd and GMAC Financial Services, along with foundational roles at Birla Global Finance Ltd and Lexicon Finance Ltd. Madhav holds an MFM in Finance from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a BCom in Economics from SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
