Afreen Huda

Afreen Huda has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Afreen is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at IDLC Finance Limited since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the HR Director at Reckitt in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka from April 2018 to July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Engagement and Culture at Robi Axiata Limited from July 2016 to March 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Specialist in Group Talent Management at Axiata from October 2015 to June 2016. Afreen also has a notable tenure at Robi Axiata Limited as the Vice President of Engagement and Culture from February 2014 to September 2015 and as the GM of Culture Management from May 2010 to January 2014. Their earlier experience includes roles at Standard Chartered Bank as an HR Relationship Manager, Unilever as a Communication Consultant, and Unilever Bangladesh as a Human Resources Manager and Assistant Human Resources Manager. Afreen began their career as a Management Trainee at BRAC.

Afreen Huda completed a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration in Dhaka from 1993 to 1997. Afreen also attended Scholastica High School, although the duration is unknown.
