Aengus Mac Sweeney is an accomplished professional in the field of structural biology with extensive experience in drug discovery and project leadership. Currently serving as the Director and Team Leader of Biology Drug Discovery at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since June 2017, Aengus has developed expertise in structural biology and related skills. Previous roles include Associate Director and Team Leader of Protein Purification and Crystallization at Actelion, and Research Investigator III at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, where contributions were made to drug discovery projects and the development of the complement factor B drug iptacopan.
