Christophe Richard

Christophe Richard is a highly experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as VP and Head of Global Quality at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since April 2020. With a robust background in quality management, Christophe previously held key positions at Vifor Pharma as Head of Quality Management, overseeing a team of 65 across multiple sites, and at Merck Serono, where responsibility included global quality systems and key system consolidations. At Firmenich, Christophe held various leadership roles, culminating as VP Global Quality, managing quality across four continents and contributing significantly to acquisitions. Early career experience includes roles as Flavor Plant Manager at Firmenich SA and a partnership during PhD studies at Robertet Group. Christophe Richard holds a PhD in Biotechnology and Food Science from AgroSup Dijon and an engineering degree in Biochemistry and Food Technology from Polytech Clermont.
