Dimitris Chrysafinos

Dimitris Chrysafinos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Dimitris started their career as a Geomatics Engineer at Geotech Ltd in 2007 and then worked as a GIS/Engineering Consultant as a freelance engineering consultant from 2004 to 2017. In 2008, they joined National Cadastre & Mapping Agency S.A. as a Quality Assurance and Sourcing Engineer, where they led the spatial data quality assurance unit and designed the outsourcing of quality assurance projects. Dimitris also served as a Project Superintendent at the Project Development Department, where they managed a national-scale digital mapping project. Since 2017, Dimitris has been working at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, starting as a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager and eventually becoming the Director and Global Strategic Sourcing Leader.

Dimitris Chrysafinos has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geodesy and GIS (Geoinformatics) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Dimitris also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from NTUA & AUEB, earned from 2011 to 2014. In 1998 to 2004, they completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Dimitris also attended the 57th Public High School of Athens from 1993 to 1996. Dimitris has a certification in Data Science from UDACITY, which they obtained in 2014. Additionally, they have completed the "Intro to Data Science" certification from Udacity, though the specific month of obtaining it is unknown.
