Dorte Renneberg

Dorte Renneberg began their work experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at California Institute of Technology - Caltech in 2002. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Axovan AG in 2003. In the same year, they joined Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a Senior Lab Head in Medicinal Chemistry and remained with the company until 2017. In 2017, they moved to Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where they held the positions of Senior Lab Head in Medicinal Chemistry and later Principal Scientist as well as Associate Director in Drug Discovery Chemistry.

Dorte Renneberg has a background in Chemistry. Dorte completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a Vordiplom degree in Chemistry from Leipzig University in 1994. Dorte then attended ECPM Ecole européenne de chimie polymères et matériaux de Strasbourg from 1994 to 1997 and received a Diploma in Chemistry. In 1997, they pursued their education at the University of Oxford, where they completed a Diploma thesis. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Bern in 2001.
